Sources and how to use them

Sources help you confirm a fact and understand its context. Linking to a public authority does not mean it endorses Lusopasso.

Where the facts come from

For geography we use pages from Turismo de Portugal. For national symbols we consult the Presidency of the Republic. Democratic history can be explored on the Assembly of the Republic website. Each learning material identifies the source page and, where needed, the relevant section.

Read beyond the answer

Open the source and find the cited passage. Distinguish the date of an event from the date we checked the page. A study explanation may summarise several facts; it is neither a verbatim quotation nor legal advice.

The source list below lets you explore the documents. If a link stops working or you find a discrepancy, contact [email protected].
